Most life insurance leads are sold three to eight times. The consumer gets a dozen calls in an afternoon, stops answering, and every agent who paid for that record loses. The seller made money either way, which is exactly why the model persists.
We took the opposite position. We run our own advertising, own the form the consumer fills out, and sell each record exactly once. That makes our inventory smaller and our price higher, and it means the person picking up has not already been called five times.
Owning the form is what makes that possible. We run the questionnaire the consumer fills out, so every record is a real request for whole life coverage — archived with the consent text, timestamp and IP — rather than a name resold from a data broker. It costs us volume. It is the single biggest reason our leads connect.
